The building has belonged to our family for 96 years and has been used for different functions. The restoration took two years and now Grand Seigneur Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci, like a page from history, reflects both art and the rich cultural heritage of Turkey.

Grand Seigneur Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci hope you enjoy our facilities and that you have a safe and wonderful holiday.

Grand Seigneur Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci the entrance is covered with stones from Ünye-Kandira which are 20cm thick. Our arched, stone door uses a locked-stone system popular during Ottoman times, and weighs one ton.  The sidewalk is also covered with stones from Ünye-Kandira. The door frames are made from arched stone and supported by a wooden guillotine window system.  The space between the windows is 2.50 * 60 cm, and is covered with stained-glass.

The figures depicted on the glass are copied from the ''Ceylanli Panel'' in Topkapi Palace. Near the sidewalk there are street lamps which are made of forged iron. The ceiling of the entrance is lit by clay lamps which hang from the Ottoman Sultan Sign ( 3.00 * 1.50 cm ).

Grand Seigneur Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci rooms are all equipped with twin beds, TV satellite set, indoor music system , and they are protected by a central fire system. The furniture is made of Ottoman palace cloth.
Our wardrobes, headboards and end tables are made of wood and they are painted and polished with gumlack polish. This style was used during Ottoman times.

Grand Seigneur Hotel Istanbul Sirkeci lighting system is made of forged iron which reflects our history .
A minibar can be found in the rooms with a sea view.

The stairs to the mezzanine are decorated with bricks and the balustrades are made of forged iron.

You can have your breakfast there in the morning, an aperitif in the afternoon or you can sit there at any time of the day. A reproduction of the famous painting by Osman Nuri Pasa which illustrates the Preveze Sea War is painted on the wall of the dinning hall.

The original painting is in the Besiktas Naval Museum. Meals are served on ceramic tables. Upon the ceramic are etched (painted) the flags of the Ottoman Empire. The railings of the entresol are made of forged iron inthe shape of a circular bow-window. At the exit of the dining room you can see a panel depicting '' Atatürk walking in Kocatepe '' . This panel was designed and made at the Hanover Machinery Fair.
