The people, though they are poor, are often seen smiling and maybe they are sitting on a sofa which is for some reason discarded to the street-side or maybe some children are being spun on a kind of merry-go-round device which is better to see than to describe, which they lazily set up in the middle of the street.

In these neighborhoods there are cars but not so much traffic and so the people reinterpret the streets for different purposes, would'nt be out of place. In this tour you will be taken around the outer neighborhoods of Sultanahmet, Cankurtaran, Kumkapi nearer to the Marmara Sea and Golden Horn (Fener, Balat, Eyup, Haskoy, Halic) where many gypsies live near the old wall around Sultanhamet where many old wooden Turkish houses still stand.

Idea : In this tour you will see neighborhoods completely untravelled by tourists.In some neighborhoods it is better to not dress touristically (no baseball-caps, pastel shorts and shirts, fitness clothing of any kind, atheletic sneaker-shoes, expensive sun-glasses, safari hats or clothing, jewelry, pricey watches)

These areas have huge potential for photography, and because of the situation of these areas, you must ask the guide before taking a picture. In this tour you may also see local open-ceremonies like weddings, circumcision celebration, etcetera.
