This international forum which consists of conference, panel discussions, artistic events and receptions also aims to facilitate networking and activate the stakeholders of the cultural sector in order to achieve a more efficient dialogue between the peoples.

Therefore it is an open platform to welcome cultural operators from Europe and Mediterranean region.

The historical Imperial Mint complex (the History Foundation of Turkey) within the Topkapý Palace will host the Forum.

The conference to be held should highlight the political and social importance of the Turkey-Europe cultural relations in the process of the integration and the possible roles and responsibilities of Turkey in the cultural relation of EU with its future neighbours.

How to improve cultural cooperation and exchange as a tool to stenghten the dialogue between the people of Turkey and Europe?
How can European cooperation programmes (such as EuropeAid, Culture 2000, Interregional Programmes, European Capital of Europe, Euro-Mediterranean Dialogue Programmes, Neighbourhood policies) be used more efficiently in order to improve the cultural relations between Turkey and Europe. Which roles should the governmental organizations, local authorities, civil society, national and international cultural institutions and cultural networks play in developing, improving and increasing social and political impact of culture.

On the third day of the Forum, two panel discussions will examine the effects of the European intercultural policies and the immigrant policies on the artistic creation process.
